Ayla Bawadi was constructed as part of the prstigious Bawadi Mall catering for the majority menembers of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. The hotel interiors are a contemporary rendition of the more traditional classic Arabic Souk or market, found iun and arround the Middle East. This successful project ensured that Design Union was shortlisted in the Middle East & North Africa Interior Design & Architecture awards in 2015 for The Best Hotel Project.
